The Great Recession was a period from 2007 to 2009 - we survived some of the highest unemployment rates ever and some of the hardest economics times for US businesses since World War II. Our community was hit very hard - extremely high unemployment and under-employment, foreclosures, lower saving rates, and credit scores moved lower.
