There is a GLOBAL wealth gap that EVERYDAY - I work to close. As we GROW through this pandemic I continue to seek strategies to build wealth for all of us. I am confident that a large part of the answer involves individual sacrifice.

Historically we have sacrificed. Now we are required to continue to sacrifice - and to put in work. Let us sacrifice by avoiding materialism, sacrifice by taking care of your whole-self, and sacrifice to create a life that will forever benefit generations to come.

Our ancestors sacrificed and worked hard for the freedoms we enjoy. But it is now time for us to demand MORE from ourselves for our children and our children's children.  

As we demand more we must prepare for the sacrifices required to create positive change - GROWTH. Our sacrifices will create opportunities for future generations. No more low wages and no more lack of hope. Losing our  young people in record numbers to violence of any kind is NOT acceptable.

As we vote I challenge us to attach requirements to the ballot as we VOTE. Let's require : 

- Livable Wages not minimum wages.

- Government sponsored small business loans for start-up businesses. 

- Affordable housing. 

- Affordable Healthcare.

- Public Colleges and Technical Training  with minimum to no tuition expense. 

- Protection of the Social Security Trust 

- A TAX  code with a higher standard deduction for lower income workers. 

Help me add to this list on Sunday at Sunrise. Let's prepare to become politically active regardless of a political party we MUST know what is needed to move the Black community forward.
